Vivek Bithi & Ramakrishna Mission Junior Basic School

‘Vivek Bithi’, a primary school was started its journey on 31st January 2010 in commemoration of the 175th Birth Anniversary of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahansa and began its regular classes on and from 10 March, 2010. The new building of the primary school was inaugurated in 2011 and the 1st floor was completed in 2014. The aim and objective of this institution is to impart Man-making and character-building education to the students of Kamarpukur and its adjacent villages. This school also takes special care of the students belonging to socially deprive & economically backward groups. The total strength of the students is around 220 which comprises both boys and girls. Other than regular subjects, Computer Application is also taught as a compulsory subject.

Besides ‘Vivek Bithi’ there is another one primary school, namely Ramakrishna Mission Junior Basic School. The total student strength of Junior Basic School is around 140 which comprises both boys and girls.
